1. Seoul, South Korea
Recently named one of the three best cities to visit in 2010, Seoul is a city that more and more cosmopolitan and modern. If you label things, here is a shopping paradise – Myeongdong packed shoulder to shoulder with the boutique. Coex Mall light is another beautiful view, located in the most sought after residential area of town.

Shopping in Singapore is never boring. Singapore is renowned for the shopping experience. There are many popular shopping destinations in the tiny red dot, like Orchard Road, Chinatown, Suntec City, and Sim Lim Square.

Orchard Road. When you head to Orchard Road, you can see the streets crowded with shoppers. You can see the signs of many branded boutiques such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci and Ralph Lauren at the main entrance of the shopping center. On Orchard Road, there is a wide collection of items for sale, from the latest fashion clothing to accessories. Orchard is very popular for locals and tourists. Recently, Singapore’s most luxurious shopping mall, ION, opened along Orchard. ION is a mall is well designed and you can find almost all the major boutiques there.

Vivo City. Vivo is located in front of the Habour and is a one-stop shopping and entertainment. Besides shopping, you can ride the cable car to Sentosa, an island off the coast of Singapore is famous for sightseeing and beach activities. If you are into nightlife, you can also visit St James Power Station Vivo otherwise. St. James is one-stop destination largest nightlife, with 14 bars and clubs all in one location.

Sim Lim Square. Sim Lim Square is a paradise all lovers of geek and technology ‘. At Sim Lim, you can find all kinds of technology products, from laptops to digital cameras. Tourists can enjoy tax-free shopping at Sim Lim. Just head to level one and present your receipt to claim your taxes.

Chinatown. Chinatown is famous for food and shopping. In Chinatown, you can find many shops along the streets, selling all kinds of goods. When you shop in Chinatown, try not to take the initial offer. Always negotiate for better prices.

Paragon. Paragon is renowned for luxurious shopping. At Paragon, you can find high-end boutiques such as Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Burberry, Hugo Boss, Dunhill, etc. So if you are into luxury goods and branded, you will not be bored when you shop at Paragon.

The shopping centers that I have shared to you are easily accessible both by MRT, bus, or taxi. Last but not least, every year between late May and early July, there is the Great Singapore Sale (GSS). During the GSS, several boutiques are offering discounts of up to 75% for their goods. So if you shopaholic and would like to visit Singapore, try to come during a period of GSS for more value.
